Top Travel Team licensed Travel Agency in Verona – Via Pallone 12/A – 37121 organizes and carries out the excursions presented in the programme on the basis of the administrative authorisation of the Verona Provincial Authority no. 37/99 dated 12-10-1999 (here called «organiser»).

The programme complies with the text established according to the D.Lgs. 111/95, approved by EEC regulation no. 90/314. Confirming any service by email, fax or concierge, the customer of the travel agency implies to have read and agreed the terms, conditions and rules explained as follows. Notwithstanding any contrary cause, the contract is governed by the provisions of law no. 1084 dated 27-12-77, ratification and enactment of the International Convention relating to the Travel Contract (CCV).

GENERAL CONDITIONS 

A minimum number of two participants is required for any tour. Bookings are subject to place and language availability.

In case, due to operational difficulties or reasons beyond its control (weather conditions, strikes, closures or delays, etc.), the organiser should be obliged to change the programme, then an alternative tour will be proposed without any variation to the established tariff, and the customer will be informed prior to departure.

In the case of unexpected increases of individual prices, not exceeding 10%, as a result of nwe taxes or duties, the tariffs will be adjusted and the customers notified in writing. In case the increases will exceed 10% the customer can break the contract without penalties.

At the moment all bike tours do not consider infants nor kids. Young men under the age of 18 can take part to tours if they can use a bicycle with gears and are accompanied by an adult who is responsible for the young man’s day to day care. The tariffs are the same as adults.

The customer making the booking is responsible for his own actions and the actions of other travellers included in his booking. If the organiser deems your or your party’s acrtions to cause danger to other travellers or our staff, interfere with other customers enjoyment of the trip or be deemed to be offensive to the local community and culture, the organiser reserves the right to remove you from the tour immediately. No refund will be supplied. The decisions of the guides and tour leaders are final on all matters likely to affect safety or well-being of any participant the tour.  Using a bike shall be subject to articles 1803 and subs. of Italian Codice Civile.

Bike user shall bound himself to respect the rules of the Italian Codice Civile and the rules of the International Highway Code, which he declares to know. Bike shall be used as any other means of transportation, that is paying attention, good sense and diligence. Competitions, reckless operations and performances are absolutely forbidden.

The customer must at all times complies with the laws, customs, foreign exchange and drug regulations of Italy. The customer also agrees to travel in accordance with our responsible travel guidelines.

The customers grant the organiser express permission to take photographs or make film records of the tour for promotional and commercial use, as well as approving such use by third parties with whom the organiser may engage in joint marketing, without financial remuneration.

PAYMENT

Reservations must be made by filling in our on-line reservation form or through a tour operator or travel agency. The reservation is considered to be complete upon payment of 100% of the amount before the tour starts. Payments must be made by credit card.

CANCELLATION

No penalty will be applied for cancellations of bookings communicated in writing to the organiser at least 6 days prior to the booked excursion date. From 6 to 2 days prior to the tour, 20% of the fare will have to be paid. The day before the tour, 100% of the fare will have to be paid.

REFUND

No refund will be granted to any customer who is not at the meeting point at the time established; Similarly, no refund will be granted to customers who lose contact with the guide or who do not complete the tour.

The organiser reserves the right to cancel any tour that does not have the minimum number of participants. The organiser reserves the right to cancel any tour, including a guaranteed tour, at any time prior to departure due to terrorism, natural disasters, political instability or other external events that make intrepid to operate. In these cases there will be no refund to the customer. If the organiser cancels, for other reasons, a tour on which you are holding you may choose between an alternative tour or a refund. The organiser is not responsible for any incidental expenses that the customer may have incurred as a result of his booking such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or loss of enjoyment, etc. If the alternative tour is of lower value than the originally booked one, the customer is entitled to the refund of the price difference. If the alternative tour is of higher value then the customer will pay the difference in price.

INSURANCE

The tours scheduled in the programme are covered by insurance named  “Multisport” of Arisa Assurances S.A.  number 24h.02.005624.

The organiser cannot accept responsability for damage caused by third parties or for reasons beyond thier control, and cannot be held responsible for the loss of valuables, luggages or objects during the tours.

Customers are responsible for: choosing a tour that suits their abilities, fitness level and state of health; arriving at the meeting point with the clothing and gear suited to the season; respecting the laws and customs of Italy; following environmental guidelines and regulations while on the tour in accordance with the tour leader direction; respecting the rights and privacy of other tour members.

Any fact, damage or accident to things and/or people deriving from bike circulation and bike use shall only be charged to the bike user and nothing shall be charged to Top Travel Team.

Bike users binds himself to guard, keep and maintain the bike in good and efficient conditions.

Bike user declares that the bike he is renting is efficient and in perfect conditions also declares that he has previously checked it.

Customers are responsible for any breakages, mechanical damage, any theft of bikes or parts of bikes occured to their bikes or to the bikes of other participants that have been caused by their inexperience and negligence.

In case of not irreparable damages to the bike, bike user shall pay to Top Travel Team an amount equal to the damages that the Top Travel Team shall quantify.

In case the bike should not be returned and/or in case of irreparable damages to the bike itself, bike user shall pay an agreed amount of 340,00 euros.

Any complaint by the customer must be communicated in writing to the organiser within and no later than 10 working days after the date of the tour. Any disputes will be settled by The Court of Verona.
